A sweet read with the Duke and Miles falling in love with the governess Miss Sarah. Sarah sees Silas commit the ultimate crime and he threatens her life. When she is injured Mark starts to suspect his brother. A great short story with a lovely ending!!
There are many terrible Regency romances being written and sold on and this is one of them. This book read as if it were written by a middle school student, and not an "A" student either. Conventions were not true to the Regency period. The dialogue was stilted and at times, too modern. The villain and situations were over the top cliche Regency, and the writing was unpolished. I noticed after the fact that this book was classified as religious and Christian. (Had I seen this before downloading, I would have skipped it.) I must say that I did not notice any religiosity. Admittedly I skimmed a lot.
I read this via Unlimited. Thank goodness I did not pay for it.
